Paula Abdul is a singer and choreographer who started her life as a poor child from a broken home. She began dreaming about song and dance at the age of four when she saw Gene Kelly on television performing “Singing in the Rain”. Paula began taking ballet lessons for free at age seven by cleaning the mirrors and floors of the dance studio. Her mother did not know about the lessons.
