Glee is a musical comedy-drama with light plot. The show centers on a high school show choir known as a glee club called "New Directions".

Since taking over the school choir, Will Schuester, an optimistic high-school teacher, has dreamed of leading them to win in the national competition. However, Will faces a frustrating fact: students who come to join the choir are quite a mixed group. Most of them do not get on well with others and some are "strange fish" in the sight of others.

Mercedes has a great gift for persuasion and she often regards herself as the prima role in the opera.
Kurt has a gift of a tenor voice but he is hard to get along with others.
Arty  is a guitar player who loves playing guitar but he is somewhat disabled naturally, or he must play his part in the music world. His friend Tina is a super fan of popular music.
Rachel Berry  is the only decent singer that Will chooses. She is a who calls herself the future singing star. Since meeting Finn, who Will recruits from his good friend's rugby, she changes a lot in her temperament.
Finn originally is the quarterback in school rugby with a film star face. His girld friend Quinn is the cheerleader of the school. Finn has a rugby friend Puch who is complacent and gets above himself.

Besides these various students, Will's wife, Terri Schuester complains about life to him and it becomes to the stumbling block to the road to success; and the coach of school cheering squad Sue Sylvester doubts about everything that Will does. However, Will gets help from a beautiful teacher Emma Pillsbury and he is determined to make achievement.
