Vampire is the enduring theme in film world all the time. I believe that this vampire magic theme is the first reason why most friends start watching True Blood. However, from the first episode of season 1, we may figure out that True Blood is not the very one meeting up to our expectations.

From Episode 1 of Season 1, we could learn that in this series, there seems to not have much action element, and articles matching vampires are barely shown. To audience who do not love story TV series at all, the charm of True Blood resides in Alan Ball, the director of Six Feet Under, and Anna Paquin, heroine in X-Men.

But, production crews spared no effort in its publicity. They publicize a kind of artificial blood named "True Blood", which is much more stupendous than the TV series itself.

The first season of True Blood received critical acclaim and won several awards, including one Golden Globe and an Emmy. The show's second 12-episode season premiered on June 14, 2009. On July 30, 2009, HBO confirmed that True Blood would be renewed for a third season, which began shooting on December 3, 2009. Let's enjoy True Blood Seasons 1~2 together!
