Yes there is an one time fee to purchase the software but that is it, no payments after that one time fee and you are ready to watch satellite tv with no hidden charges or monthly fees and there are even some channels in High Definition.
Your choice of channels is almost unlimited if there is a TV station, odds are you will be able to watch it and i haven't found a channel that requires you to subscribe to it, there are some channels that you have to subscribe too but i haven't ran into any yet. A brand new Tv and if you have a video card and recording software you can even record your games or favorite tv show.
They also made it super easy to watch in almost any language and to sort through the channels from any country very easily and you can find your channel you like to watch the most and add it to your favorites. This is not like regular satellite tv where someone else picks the channels that you are allowed to watch Satellit-PC will give you access to TV stations for over 84 different countries.
For a one time payment to purchase the software at $67.00 and if you think about it you are also buying a new TV. I have tried several different programs to get TV on my computer even to try to hook up my TV via USB cable but this is amazing. Any channel you can think of you can watch.
