The series looks at the account of simple men gladiators and how they survived even in overwhelming circumstances. Because of jealousy and conquest Spartacus is separated from the love that is killed for self gain and he himself is forced into the bloody and gruesome world of being a gladiator in a distant arena far from Rome, but the arena is under Roman rule.  In this light of government Spartacus must play politics in the mist of violence, sex and fame in order to save his own life.  His passion will help him to have strength to endure while his vengeance spirit will torment him day and night till he is able to exact the same vengeance that was put upon him.  But there are many obstacles that await him.

Spartacus Blood and Sand Revelations proceeds as Lucretia and Batiatus await the arrival of Glaber a Roman commander of a legion.  He was also once the commander of Spartacus and he is most interested to see if Spartacus has been tamed after such time when he was in his army.  Batiatus has intentions of receiving his patronage from Glaber asking that he be appointed to a small office in Roman Government when Glaber is appointed to another position once he returns back to Rome.  Spartacus on the other hand has his own plans and they involve revenge.  Revenge for his family being killed and revenge for being made a slave.
