The Vampire Diaries premiered for the CW on September 10, 2009. The Vampire Diaries is definitely an American supernatural-fantasy horror television series.
The series is set inside fictional town of Mystic Falls, Virginia, a town charged with supernatural historical past. Other storylines revolve throughout the other inhabitants with the town, most notably Elena's more youthful brother Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), Elena's buddy Bonnie Bennett (Katerina Graham), who discovers that she is often a witch, and their self-obsessed pal Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola).
Elena wakes to discover that she and Bonnie happen to be kidnapped by Anna and Ben. Stefan has become trying to come across her and asks Damon for assistance, but he refuses.
With support from Grams, Stefan eventually saves Elena and Bonnie. Stefan later on ends up killing Ben for not obeying his order to leave town. Jeremy asks Anna with a party inside the woods, unaware that she has her own motives for hoping to fulfill him there.
With the support of Bonnie and Grams, the tomb is opened and Damon realizes that Katherine is not within. Anna enters the tomb to come across her mom Pearl and helps her escape by obtaining her feed on Elena's blood. Stefan tells Damon that the seal with the tomb has only been temporarily broken and they must depart now in order to not be sealed in forever.
Out in the tomb, Elena sees how upset Damon is and hugs him. Damon visits Anna's hotel room, where he learns that a smitten church guard had let Katherine go, and she was in no way within the tomb.
Anna admits to acquiring seen Katherine in Chicago in 1983, but Katherine no longer cared about Damon. At house, Bonnie arrives to check on Grams but realizes she isn't breathing. Bonnie screams for Elena, who calls an ambulance. The episode ends with one on the vampires escaping from the tomb.
